Reporting Faults
When reporting faults, try to include as much information as possible, including:
- Version and build number of Cantabile
- Operating system details
- Sound card type
- Audio driver details, including whether ASIO or DirectSound
- Details of any plugins that you feel may be related to the problem
- Steps to reproduce the problem
In the case of a crash, Cantabile should create a MiniDump file in the logs directory (see Troubleshooting for more information) which should also be included.
For reproducible problems, it is worth creating a log file (again, see Troubleshooting for more information) and including that also.
The preferred method of reporting faults is through email, see the Contact page for details.
