Audio and MIDI Recorders
Cantabile supports automatic and manual recording of both audio and MIDI.
Auto record modes detect audio or MIDI activity and automatically start the appropriate recorder.
All recordings get saved in the new recording list panel, where they can be pinned to be kept, or unpinned to be automatically discarded when the session is closed. New recordings can be optionally automatically pinned or not (optimistic vs pessimistic recording).
The recording list also supports file operations for convenient deletion and renaming of recordings.
Flexibile filename formatting allows recorded files to be labelled by session name, plugin name, date/time, counter etc...
16-bit integer, 24-bit integer, 32-bit integer, 32-bit float and 64-bit float audio formats are supported.
