Racks and Plugins
Cantabile uses a system of racks to organise and connect plugins.
A rack is simply a set of plugin's connected in series. The output of a rack can be routed to either audio/MIDI output or to the input of another rack.

- Each rack can be individually connected to audio input.
- Plugin slots can "pass-through" MIDI to allow easy layering of instruments for interesting new sounds.
- Partial sends support peeling off a part of a racks output audio signal and sending to another rack for further processing.
- Plugin mix levels can be adjusted using either wet/dry sliders, or optionally effect gain/balance controls.
- Racks support familiar solo/mute and bypass (where input passes directly to output) functionality.
- Plugins can be individually bypassed.
- Plugins and racks can be easily managed using drag/drop, clipboard and undo/redo.
