Morph and Randomize Tools

Inspiration for preset designers.

Cantabile's Morph and Randomizing tools can be used to create interesting new sounds and effects by either randomizing a plugin's settings, or gradually changing the settings from one preset to another.

These tools are integrated with the plugin editor where they appear as a second toolbar (shown here with mda Piano plugin loaded):

The Randomize tool can either randomize settings by a configurable amount (mild vs wild randomization), or between limits defined by two existing presets (ie: random combination of two presets).

The Morph tool gradually adjusts a plugins settings from one preset to another.

These tools can work with all of a plugin's settings or a selected subset.

The animate feature can be used to continuously randomize or morph a plugin at a configurable speed. Turn on the animate tool and play away until you hear a sound you like. If you miss a randomized preset, there are next and previous buttons that can be used to navigate the history of randomized presets.
