Just a quick update.
Although I haven't posted anything for a while, I am working away, though progress is limited somewhat by my development notebook having to go off for repair yet again.
In the mean time I've setup a "make do" development environment in a Virtual PC which I can move around. It's not ideal for developing something like Cantabile, but it will do for the moment.
Anyway, I'm working on the new UI for recorders which is going to consist of the "Record" ribbon tab for controlling the recorders and a recordings list which will appear as a list docked to the left side of Cantabile's main window. The recordings list will show all recent recordings and allow renaming and deleting previously made recordings.
Each recording will also have a pin button (similar to those in the plugin selector for favourite plugins) and there will be an option to automatically delete unpinned plugins when the session is closed and an option that specifies whether new recordings are pinned by default or not. This replaces (and improves I think) the "save recording" and "save all recordings" options in the old version.
