New Keyboard Capture Modes

Today while putting back Cantabile's keyboard capture commands I decided to revisit the functionality as I've had quite a few requests for ability to capture the keyboard while other applications are active.

There are now three keyboard capture modes available in the options dialog:

• Main Window Only - only captures keystrokes from Cantabile's main window
• All Cantabile Windows - captures keystrokes from any Cantabile window (this is the same as the old behaviour)
• System Wide - captures keystrokes regardless of which application is active.

There's also a new option "Let F12 Capture Keyboard from Other Applications" which when enabled allows keyboard capture to be turned on when another application is active.

Capture now captures all keys. Previously arrow keys and other keys not used by the keyboard were passed on to the application when capture was enabled. This was a little useful but it was easy to forget capture was on and wonder why other keys wouldn't work. Keyboard capture now consumes all keystrokes - even if they're not actually used by the keyboard.

Other things now completed:

• Move Up/Down commands in the plugin rack
• Windows Volume Control, Recording Mixer and Sound Control Panel commands.
• All Notes Off command
• Capture Keyboard command
• Default session state commands (but moved from menu command to options dialog)
• About Box, Check for Updates, Visit Website, Contact Us and Diagnostics and Troubleshooting (all available from new "Resources" page in options dialog)
• Fixed problem with Aero Glass painting when Aero disabled and re-enabled by Vista.
• Fixed problem with keyboard scrolling causing keyboard to appear half offscreen.
• Fixed problem with keyboard D# and G# notes not working from mouse.
