Session and Sub-session Drop Down Menus

So it's been a long time since I've posted anything here, partly because I've been busy working away on getting Cantabile done, but also because the forum has taken over this blog's role a little. I'd like to keep a reasonably full history of v2's developer though so I'm going back and filling in some of the missing history. Starting with this:

Build 2012 adds a new scrollable list in drop menu of both the session list and sub-session buttons on the Home Tab. These allow easily selecting a session list entry or sub-session entry without having to display the other parts of the UI:

These seem to make switching between sessions and sub-sessions much easier. I thought I'd have difficulty getting the in-menu scrollable list working but turned out to be pretty easy - certainly easier using my own skinned GUI library that if I had to do it in a standard Windows menu (actually I'm not even sure that would be possible).
