Quick MIDI Assignments
In an attempt to simplify creating MIDI Controller assignments, most assignable controls can now have a new "Assign MIDI Controller" command:
Selecting the command shows the existing Quick MIDI Assignment dialog:
Finally, controls that have an assignment also have commands to remove the assignment:

Terrific. This is like "key binding" in Sonar. Now I can start, stop, and pause the Media Player from the piano keyboard in any session.
You can also connect a volume control to your mod wheel, for example, but only on a per-session basis.
